Who would have guessed that four minutes could change everything?

Today should be one of the worst days of seventeen-year-old Hadley Sullivan's life. She's stuck at JFK, late to her father's second wedding, which is taking place in London and involves a soon to be step-mother that Hadley's never even met. Then she meets the perfect boy in the airport's cramped waiting area. His name is Oliver, he's British, and he's in seat 18C. Hadley's in 18A.

Twists of fate and quirks of timing play out in this thoughtful novel about family connections, second chances and first loves. Set over a 24-hour-period, Hadley and Oliver's story will make you believe that true love finds you when you're least expecting it.

- GoodReads.com description

The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight is, let's get it straight, pure awesomeness!

The story of Hadley is such a beautiful story, but it's also very sad. Her parents divorced and she is going to London, because her father is getting re-married. You can imagine her broken heart. Mine would have been as well.

She asks herself about her father's love. Does he care about her? Or now that he's getting re-married, he will build himself his own family in which she has no part in? "After all, it’s one thing to run away when someone’s chasing you. It’s entirely another to be running all alone."

But, she missed the flight. Haha great! Too bad, she still needs to go to London, even if she would be a little bit late for the wedding. Whatever. And then she meets him. He is like "Is it possible not to ever know your type—not to even know you have a type—until quite suddenly you do?" Yes, that's what he is!

So it's kind of very difficult to say anything more, because that would be a spoiler. The story is very, very sweet and great! I've enjoy it so, so much!

Another thing! When you'll pick it up, you won't be able to put it down! I finished it at 6 AM in the morning so..  it's a un-puttable down book ;)

“And O there are days in this life, worth life and worth death”

PS. "The rest is just geography." ;)

I really want to read this book for a reading challenge I'm doing but none of my libraries have it yet :(

Hopefully, they'll get copies soon, and I'll snatch it up as soon as they do. The challenge ends February.

It might also be fun to wait and read it in June when I'll be on a plane to London too :)

Well, I hope you'll get it in time!! :)

The book says that “People who meet in airports are seventy-two percent more likely to fall for each other than people who meet anywhere else.” - So, pay attention in the airport! ;) hihi :) That would be fun, don't you think Kayla? :) :)

Oh Mimi!! I can't wait for you to read it! Really, this book is so, so good! And of course I totally agree about the book tastes!! <3 :) ;)

Nea! Thanks for dropping by my blog! I definitely loved the scenes between Hadley and Oliver! It was just that I really feel bad and sad about her parents. But overall the story was lovely. :))
