Blogspiration #18

Blogspiration is a Brand Spankin' New weekly meme hosted by both GrowingUp YA and Saz101. The meme was created to help spark inspiration among bloggers, readers and writers alike. An inspirational quote/picture/video is posted weekly, on the day of the author's choosing, so that it may inspire creativity, conversation, and just a little SOMETHING.

Hello my dear friends and readers :) I've missed you so so much <3 Crazy month is behind me, and between 2 jobs it was kind of difficult to find the time to read and blog :/ But I missed blogging so so much, so I am back :) Hopefully for good ;)

I've been sitting on my terrace drinking beer and checking blogs for the past 3 hours and it feels really good ;) I was thinking.. About Sarah's love for Harry Potter. About my Anthropology teacher V.V. Godina saying Harry Potter is a psychoanalysis series and that rare people get the real meaning out of it. Or it was.. "Yes, children like it a lot, but in reality, it's psychoanalysis books for adult people. Not all of them get it." Something like that. And I remember a quote she mentioned quite a few times.

And in this quote.. it has practically all the knowledge that Slavoj Žižek and men before him (which I don't remember the names right now) said about life and what's being functionally grown up means.

About the difference between the self-directed type of people and pathological narcissists. This is the main difference. People should do what is right and not what is fine/easy/feels good just for the sake of it.

I wish today's parents would understand more the importance of this fact.

What's your blogspiration this week? :)

Yeah, I agree with this, too. I like to think I follow this philosophy in my life and have done it, although I can't think of examples of when I have at the moment.

Life's not meant to be easy and we gain more from our actions when we do the right thing.

NEA! ♥♥♥
And me? Likes Harry Potter? HOW DID YOU KNOW? :D

Seriously, YES. One of the things I adore about Harry Potter are the layers of meaning. It has so much to offer so many people--it's one of those series that appeals across ages and demographics, because... there is just so much to it. It has heart and intelligence and humour, and YES! I LOVE how deeply you can get into the characters and their world. How none of the villains are simply maniacally cackling caricatures, and even the good guys have darkness and faults. LOVE.

Good inspirational quote. Can't go wrong with motivation from Dumbledore.

Gosh, I rarely think about this important quote! Albus says so much amazing advice. This is definitely important to remember. To try hard as you can to do what is right, because it will never be easy to do acts of courage. Fantastic blogspiration!

You know what's funny, I've never really stopped to think about Harry Potter this way. Yes, the series is chock full of really important lessons and stories, but I've never once considered what passing them on and really dissecting them.

I love this post, Nea!! Glad to have you back :D

Also, 62 books??!!! SERIOUSLY??!!! WHO THE HELL ARE YOU?? :p

Great blogspiration for sure--it makes me want to reread the entire HP series and try to psychoanalyze it!
