How do you know where to go when you don't remember where you came from?

Kyla's memory has been erased,

her personality wiped blank,

her memories lost for ever.

Or so she thought.

Kyla shouldn't be able to remember anything. But she can - and she's beginning to realise that there are a lot of dark secrets locked away in her memories. When a mysterious man from her past comes back into her life, she thinks she's on her way to finding the truth. But the more she learns about her history, the more confusing her future becomes...

Set in a disturbing future world, FRACTURED is an engrossing, fast-paced read that establishes Teri Terry as a master thriller writer.

- Goodreads.com description

You see, there aren't many books in this world that can keep you at the edge of your seat through the whole story. And when I say the whole story, yes, I mean the whole book. I thought Slated was fantastic and amazing, but Teri Terry managed to bring the serie to an even higher level, because Fractured was absolutely phenomenal.

Kyla. Or I should say Rain? Or even Lucy? Nonetheless, our favourite heroine of the first instalment is back full force. She isn't scared anymore. She may not remember everything, but bits by bits are coming back and she is so strong with dealing with everything around her. She is kick-ass, fierce, powerful and even though she was betrayed by someone close to her, she still doesn't give up and stay strong and fight back.

Ben. Oh, Ben. My heart breaks for you. Truly. He may not have had a big part in this story - though lets face it, he has a big part in Kyla's heart - I have a feeling the 3rd book in the serie won't disappoint us. Kyla is going to figure it out. I am sure of it.

Anyhow, this book is pure bliss. Amazing action, fast paced setting, believe me when I say you won't be able to put the book down. I know I couldn't. I've read it in almost one sitting (damn my job). It is so compelling that you will lie - about being tired, not answering the phone - just so you could keep reading.

So, if you read Slated, I dare you to read Fractured, because it won't disappoint you one tiny bit. And if you haven't started this incredible serie yet, then all I can say is.. what are you waiting for? A great dystopia, fast paced, full of action, sweet romance and a main character who struggles with life even though huge pieces of her past are lost, being taken away from her. Teri Terry's world will overtake you. You'll never be the same.

Maybe we can disappear someplace together, someplace the Lorders won't find us.
Like the moon?
I push the doubting voice away, ignore it. Hug this little hope inside and hold it tight.
Without it, I have nothing.

For too long I've been pulled one way, then another; between who I was, and who I am. But who do I want to be?
Who I am now and what I do, now, will be decided by me, and me alone.

Seeing what scared you from what it is does not lessen the terror. It still has the power to break your heart, over and over again.

There really aren't many books in this world that can keep you on the edge of your seat throughout. I'm glad Fractured worked so well for you! I wasn't the biggest fan of the first book, but I did like it, so I look forward to starting this one soon. Lovely review!
