Temporary. That one single word best describes my life these last few years. I’m working at a temporary job until I can finally break free. I’m my little brother’s temporary mother since our mom doesn’t give a crap about either of us. And I’m that temporary girl all the guys want to get with because I give it up so easily. According to the rumors, at least.

But now I’m the temporary girlfriend of Drew Callahan, college football legend and all around golden guy. He’s beautiful, sweet—and he’s hiding way more secrets than I am. He’s brought me into this fake life where everyone seems to hate me. And everyone seems to want something from him. The only thing he seems to want though is…

Me.

I don’t know what to believe anymore. All I know is, I think Drew needs me. And I want to be there for him.

Forever.

- Goodreads.com description

You know that book that gives you a feeling that you need to tell the whole world about it and until the whole world won't read it, you won't really feel satisfied? That's One week girlfriend book. Because really, this book is so incredibly beautiful. I read it through the 24 hour read-a-thon and when I finished I couldn't stop myself and I picked the second book Second chance boyfriend up straight away. They are perfect.

Fable. Awww, Fable is just amazing. She is so strong and fierce and caring and you can't help yourself but love her. She is just so good and she puts others first and she is always trying to help. I admire her a lot. With such circumstances that she grown up with, she turned out as amazingly possible as she could.

Drew. Oh, my broken boy. So strong and so scared. I fell in love with him. I did. I can't possibly imagine what it was like to grow up in a family like that.. That someone could possibly ruin your life like that and on the top of it not feeling any guilt about it - that was just maddening and sad for me. As Nea and as a psychologist. And for him to carry that guilt all by himself, that must be so, so hard.

The story was written so beautifully. I couldn't stop reading it. I read it in one sitting. And it was written from both, Fable and Drew's, point of view, which is something I usually don't particularly like, but this time around it was amazing. I loved both the characters so much.

So, if you are searching for a deep, beautiful, life changing new adult contemporary romance book, One week girlfriend is the perfect book for you! Like I said, until the whole world won't read it, it won't be enough to do this book justice. It's just too perfect.

For once, I want to know what if feels like to be someone's first choice.

Does he ever really allow anyone to touch him? He tends to move through life all by himself.
That realization fills me with sadness. While I allow an endless, faceless stream of guys to touch me. I crave it because for a brief moment, I feel like someone cares about me. The feeling is always fleeting and I end up as empty as I was before. Sometimes even more.

I can't keep living my life like this, letting that - woman control me like she has, but I can't stop my reactions. I need help. I'm a fucking wreck and I need someone to save me before I become completely unsaved.

I have had this on my Kindle for a while now. I have heard nothing but good things about it. I am going to have to make time for it soon. Great review!

Really, I'm not the biggest fan of New Adult (which is where I'm guessing this book goes) but this one sounds decent! I love the sound of both Drew and Fable (what an interesting name!). I'm going to give this one a chance!
